Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). They was moved to Oxfordshire when she was five and enrolled in at the Dragon School. Emma's ambition was to become an actor. As a young girl of 6she was enrolled into the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch in which she was taught classes in acting, singing and dance. The actress had performed in a variety of Stagecoach and school productions before she turned ten. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 version from J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel was published in 1999. Casting agents discovered Emma by way of her Oxford theatre instructor. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were cast as the 3 leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's debut film coincided with the release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2002). The film was also the most successful film of 2001. The opening weekday and weekend the sales were record breaking. The critics were impressed by the movie and its performances. The Daily Telegraph praised Emma for her performance. Emma was awarded five nominations for her impressive performance. Then, she was awarded the Young Artist Award in Leading Young Actress in a Film.
